PELLEX moved down by INR 100/t to INR 5,950/wmt (DAP Raipur) amid limited inquiries and a fall in pellet export prices. However, no deal has been concluded in this publishing window.
SteelMint P-DRI assessment (June 16, 2020) moved down sharply by INR 600/t to INR 15,100/t (Ex-plant) as against the last assessment (on 12th June 2020) at 15,700/t. Limited demand and increasing inventories have weighed on sponge prices.

Raipur based pellet offers stable at INR 6,000/t ( Ex-plant); normalizing for freight to Raipur at INR 6,150/t (DAP Raipur).
Raigarh based pellet maker’s offers remain stable at INR 5,600-5,700/t (Ex-plant) in this window of Index.
Jamshedpur based pellet maker’s decreased offers by INR 300/t to INR 5,500-5,600/t (Ex-plant) today.
SteelMint’s Durgapur pellet price assessment falls to INR 5,900-6,100/t (Ex-plant) on limited inquiries.
Indian pellet export offer-:
No pellet deal has been concluded in this publishing window so far. Limited bids from China have pushed down Indian pellet export prices.
SteelMint assessment for Fe 64% grade pellets with 3% Al has come down by around $3/t in this publishing window at around $113-115/t, CFR China against the last assessment at $116-118/t CFR China.
