The recent price cut in Iron ore fines announced by NMDC is
likely to benefit Iron ore pellets manufacturers based in Raipur.
“The landed cost of Iron ore fines from NMDC will be much
lesser after the 23% price cut announced on Wednesday. The cost of Fe 63-64
would lie somewhere around Rs 3800/MT”, said market players.
Currently, Pellets prices in Raipur are around Rs 9,800/MT
and prices may fall a bit after the downward correction in Iron ore fines
prices.
