Pellet (Fe 63%) prices in Durgapur decreased today to INR 10,400/t exw, down INR 350/t compared to the last assessment of INR 10,750/t on 19 Apr’22. Also, deals of around 2,000 t were concluded by a Durgapur-based player at INR 10,700/t exw during the present assessment period. Purchases were limited due to the drop in pellet-based sponge iron (PDRI) prices.
