Pattabhi Agro Foods Private Limited, India has secured Package-09 for the procurement of 50,000 MT (+5%) of non-basmati parboiled rice in the tender published on 1st December. The bid closed on 15 Dec, with Pattabhi Agro emerging as the winner at $355.77/MT, highlighted by recent Indian government policy shifts easing restrictions on rice exports to boost trade, especially to nations like Bangladesh.
