Patra prices fall by INR 400/t in central India

HR strip (patra) prices decreased by INR 400/t in Raipur, while prices inched up by INR 200/t in Mandi Gobindgarh on 11 Mar’22, as per SteelMint assessment. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are assessed at INR 63,600/t exw Raipur. Meanwhile, prices are assessed at INR 65,700/t exw Mandi Gobindgarh. SteelMint reported patra prices in Raipur at INR 60,000/t last week – up INR 3,600/t w-o-w. Prices exclude GST.
