Pakistani mills turn active on HRC imports, deals reported

Pakistan based importers have recently booked 10,000 t HRC (SAE 1006) from China’s Benxi Steel at $620/t CFR basis for end Jan- Feb ’21 shipment. Also, another deal for 3,000 t HRC was booked with Taiwan at $635/t CFR basis for Feb shipment towards the end of the previous week, SteelMint learned from Pakistani sources. Prices have moved up by $10 w-o-w, SteelMint assessed.
