Pakistan: Steel mills reduce CRC, coated coil prices by PKR 9,000/t ($41)

Major Pakistani steel mills – International Steel Limited (ISL), Aisha Steel Mills Limited (ASML) and Hadeed Pakistan Private Limited (HP) – have reduced prices of cold-rolled coil (CRC) and coated flat steel products by PKR 9,000/t ($41/t), effective 20 Oct’22. Mills reduced prices in view of volatile global steel prices, PKR appreciation, and low demand from the major steel consuming sectors, sources informed SteelMint.
