Pakistan: Steel mills raise CRCs, coated coil prices by PKR 5,000/t ($22)

Major Pakistani steel mills – International Steel, Aisha Steel Mills and Hadeed Pakistan Pvt Ltd – have increased prices of cold-rolled coils (CRCs) and coated flat steel products by PKR 5,000/t ($22/t), effective 9 Jan’23. Appreciation of USD against PKR and an uptrend in global steel and raw material prices have pushed mills to raise prices in January, sources informed.
