Major Pakistani steel mills International Steels Limited (ISL), Aisha Steel Mills Limited (ASML) and Hadeed Pakistan Private Limited (HP) have announced a hike of PKR 7,000/t ($34/t) in cold-rolled coil (CRC) and coated flat steel products prices, effective 14 Jun’22. Steep currency depreciation, higher inflation along with the recent surge in power costs resulted in mills raising steel prices.
