Pakistan: Scrap import prices fall marginally in latest deals

Around 500 tonnes (t) of UK/EU-origin shredded scrap in containers were booked at $639/t CFR Qasim recently.
SteelMint’s assessment for shredded scrap import prices into Pakistan stand at $640/t CFR, down by $4-5/t d-o-d following drop in Turkish prices last week.
However, a few offers for shredded scrap are heard now being quoted at $635/t CFR.
