Pakistan-based importers booked around 40,000-45,000 t of HRC (SAE 1006) from Japan and Indonesia towards the end of last week. The deal for the Indonesian cargo was closed at $870/t CFR for Feb-Mar’22 shipment, whereas from Japan the material was booked at $900/t CFR for Mar-Apr delivery, SteelMint learnt from sources.

- China- $900-915/t CFR
- South Korea- $940/t CFR
- Taiwan- $950/t CFR
- Japan- $950/t CFR
