China’s HRC (SS400) export offers to Pakistan rose by $5-10/t w-o-w to $560-565/t CFR Karachi against $550-560/t CFR last week. Small deals of around 1,000 t of HRC were heard concluded at $558/t CFR for end-June shipment. Prices rose amid increasing Chinese SHFE HRC futures. Meanwhile, Japanese offers are hovering around $585/t CFR, informed Pakistan-based sources.
