Chinese origin HRC (SS400) offers to Pakistan increased by $20/t this week to $600-610/t CFR Karachi, sources informed SteelMint. Recent rally in futures market, and an increase in global HRC prices were cited as leading reasons behind the rise. However, Japanese mills were heard to have held back offers on the global platform. Previous week’s offers were around $600-610/t CFR.
