Imported HRC offers into Pakistan have been put on hold from major exporting countries this week amid difficulties in opening L/Cs, informed sources. Last heard offers from China were around $610/t CFR Karachi while those from Japan were at $650/t CFR. Chinese mills are eyeing higher offers ahead of the Lunar holidays and following a recent rally in HRC futures.
