A deal of Chinese HRC SS400 was heard to have been concluded at $545/t CFR Karachi for early-Jan’23 shipment towards last weekend. However, the quantity could not be confirmed. Imported Chinese HRC offers increased to $565/t CFR Karachi against $510-520/t CFR a week ago.
South Korean mills quoted HRC (SAE1006) at $580/t CFR while Taiwanese mills’ offers were at $600/t CFR for mid-Jan’23 despatches.
