Chinese-origin HRC (SS400) offers to Pakistan moved up by $10/t w-o-w. Current offers are around $610-615/t CFR Karachi as against previous week’s $600-605/t CFR. Mills across the globe are trying to raise prices amid supply concerns arising out of curtailment of production amid high input cost and natural disaster. No offers were heard from other regions this week, sources informed.
