CoalMint has come to learn from market sources that 5500 NAR grade coal of South African origin has been traded at $156/t CNF Qasim port, whereas 5600 NAR grade coal from Mozambique has been traded at $158/t on CNF basis. Offers for Russian 5500 grade coal are heard at $145/t on FOB basis. However, there are hardly any offers for Australian thermal coal at present, market participants informed.
