- In Mar’24, Pakistan imported 252,982 t of ferrous scrap, marking a 0.4% drop compared with Feb’s 254,170 t.
- Compared to the same period last year, imports were higher by 85% from 136,400 t in Mar’23.
- However, over the first three months of this calendar year, scrap imports into Pakistan rose by 45% y-o-y, totalling 729,681 t as compared to 504,500 t in Jan-Mar’23.
