Pakistan’s ferrous scrap import prices remain unchanged since the beginning of this week, as per SteelMint assessment. A few deals were confirmed for 3,000 t of containerised shredded scrap of UK/EU-origin at $535-540/t, CFR Port Qasim. After active deals noticed early this week, trade has slowed down somewhat. SteelMint’s bi-weekly assessment for shredded scrap stands at $540/t, CFR Port Qasim – stable against the last assessment on 15 Jun’21.
