Pakistan: Ferrous scrap import prices fall by $5/t in recent deals

Pakistan’s imported scrap market saw few bookings at the end of the week as offers corrected due to subdued transactions during Ramadan month.
A total of 2,300 t of UK-origin shredded scrap in containers were booked at $630-640/t, CFR PQ levels.
SteelMint’s assessment for shredded scrap import prices stands at $640/t CFR, a decrease of $5/t on a d-o-d basis.
