Pakistan’s ferrous scrap import prices have increased slightly by $2/t since the beginning of this week. As per SteelMint assessment, offers have been quoted in the range of $540-550/t, CFR Port Qasim.
Trading slowed down due to the closing of the financial year. Only a few deals were confirmed for around 3,000 t of containerised shredded scrap of UK/EU-origin at $538-543/t, CFR Port Qasim.
