Pakistan Bulk Import Increase in Jan’18

Pakistan bulk imports increased by 18% in Jan’18 with rise in demand of coal from power and cement sector. As per vessel line up data no bulk scrap shipments were recorded in January 2018.

Bulk scrap shipments are expected in Feb’18 owing to decline of scrap prices in global markets and a sharp fall in available inventories at steel mills in Pakistan.
