A Pakistan-based buyer was heard to have sourced 10,000 t of HRC (SAE1006) from China towards the middle of this week. The deal was sealed at $970/t for Jun’22 shipment, SteelMint learnt from sources. Chinese mills have raised HRC (SS400) offers to $975-985/t CFR Pakistan, whereas Japanese mills are offering SAE1006 grade material at $1,070/t CFR for June delivery.
