Pakistan: Amreli Steel commences operation at the largest renewable solar project in the steel industry

Amreli Steel has announced to start off the commercial operation of greenfield renewable of 4.43 MWp PV solar power plant at Dhabeji. This is the largest renewable energy project in the steel industry of Pakistan with the main objective of protecting the environment and reducing the cost of energy. The company may expect the power plant to reduce approximately 4,500,000 kg of CO2 equivalent emissions yearly, SteelMint learned from company’s filing at the stock exchange.
