Pakistani importers were heard to have booked some 2,000-3,000 tonnes (t) HRC (SAE1006) for import from China a few days ago. The deal was concluded at around $590/t CFR Pakistan to be delivered in mid-Feb’23. Current offers for SS400 stand at $580-590/t CFR as against last week’s $560/t CFR. Meanwhile, Japanese mills were heard offering around $600-610/t CFR this week.
