- Base metals prices opened trading on a volatile note today as against yesterday’s closing levels. Zinc prices trended lower by over 4%; however, aluminium rose nearly 3% in morning trade. Stocks of base metals were largely stable compared to yesterday.
- Brent oil fell 2.31% to $109.16 and crude oil WTI futures fell 2.61% to $103.42 at the time of reporting, as investors were concerned that US rate hikes would affect economic recovery.
