- Base metals prices opened lower today. Zinc prices fell by nearly 3% in morning trade. Stocks of all base metals were down with zinc falling by 1.18%, equivalent to 1,000 t, in the last trading day.
- Brent oil fell 1.59% to $120.34 per barrel and crude oil WTI futures fell 1.62% to $118.97 per barrel at the time of reporting. Investors are concerned that the resumption of stringent Covid-19 curbs such as partial lockdowns in Shanghai may hit fuel demand.
