- Base metals (copper and zinc) prices opened at rangebound levels today. Aluminium and nickel rose over 2% in morning trade. Among all the base metals, copper stocks fell over 3% yesterday, equivalent to 3,875 t d-o-d.
- The demand optimism for crude oil remains high along with the reviving Chinese economy. US WTI futures climbed to $122.1/barrel and Brent crude futures rose to $123.6/barrel.
