For the next round of chrome ore e-auction which are going to be held on 6 Mar’17 at 11:00 hrs (IST), the Odisha government owned miner, Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMC) has offered total 35,100 MT friable chrome ore and 2,000 MT chrome concentrate.
The company has offered friable chrome ore of quantity 25,100 MT from South Kalapani chromite mines, 5,400 MT from Sukrangi chromite mines and 4,600 MT from Paradip port, plot of OMC and they offered chrome concentrate of quantity 2,000 MT from COBP Kalapani.
As per the specification, Cr2O3 in the material shall be between 42% to 54%.
The delivery period of the material is 30 days from the date of contract issued. Only in the case of friable chrome ore from Paradip port the delivery period is 90 days.
The bid value quoted by the bidder should be the basic price in rupees per WMT (Wet Materic Ton) for the mineral inclusive of royalty and exclusive of cess and other statutory duties and levies etc applicable at the time of suppliers will be extra and payable by the successful bidder.
