OMC Invites Bids for Engagement of Raising Contractors

Bhubaneswar:  Working on its plan to raise its annual iron ore output Odisha government owned miner OMC has invited bids from eligible firms experience in raising excavation of ore/minerals for the Gandhamardan iron ore mines located in Keonjhar district of Odisha. The period of work will be initially of 5 years which may be extended for another 3 years. 

However, OMC will assess the work in every 12 months and after the assessment the period will be further extended for another 12 months.  The scope of work includes excavation of Ore to preparation of specific size of CLO and transport of the ore to specific yards.

The tender documents can be downloaded from the OMC website from 16thJul’16 onwards and last date of receiving the application is 8th Aug’16. Bids will be opened on the same day afternoon.
