OMC Cuts Base Prices for Upcoming Iron Ore E-auction

The company has reduced base prices for few grades consisting lumps upto 9% and fines upto 3% for the next e-auction

Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has put forward an e-auction for 779,000 MT iron ore (266,000 MT fines & 513,000 MT lumps) to be held on 09 Novt’15. The material has been offered from Barbil, Gandhamardan, Koira and Daitari mines.

The company has cut prices for some grades, and has kept others unchanged against last e-auctions. Reduction of 9% in base price of lumps offered by Koira mines and upto 3% in base prices of fines offered by Daitari mines and Barbil mines had been done against previous e-auctions.

However, base prices for other grades for material from Gandhamardan Mines (50,000 MT fines & 90,000 MT lumps), have been kept unchanged.
