For the next round of chrome ore e-auction which will be held on 26 Sep ’16, the Odisha government owned miner OMC has offered a total of 64,240 MT chrome ore. Out of which 49,740 MT are friable ore, 2,400 MT are concentrate, and 8,250 hard lumps and 3,850 chips and fines.
The company has offered 42,000 MT material from South Kalapani Chromite Mines, 12,140 MT material from Bangur Mines, 7,500 MT from Sukrangi Chromite Mines, and 2,400 MT from COBP Kalapani.
The base price has been kept unchanged from the previous held OMC Chrome Ore E-Auction. The H1 bid received for +54% grade chrome ore was INR 10,640/MT. For, 52-54% and 48-50% grade H1 was awarded at INR 10,152/MT and INR 7,668/MT respectively.The delivery period of the material is 60 days from the date of contract.
The bid value quoted shall be the basic price in INR/WMT (Wet Materic Ton) for the mineral, inclusive of royalty and exclusive of cess, and other statutory duties and levies etc as applicable, which will be paid extra and payable by the successful bidder.
