In the final week of May’24, auto component producers in western and northern India held multiple auctions of CR-HR coated, non-coated punching mix scraps. A Pune, Maharashtra-based producer received bids of INR 41,000 to 41,500/t ex-works for 2,500 t. Meanwhile, from the northern part of India, around 8,000 t of the same grade of scrap was booked at around INR 39,200-40,000/t exw.
