Odisha’s Essel Mining has increased INR 1,600/t further in the lump and INR 1,700/t fines today, sources have reported to SteelMint. The revised offer for lump (5-18 mm, Fe 63%) stands at INR 12,700/t (ex-mines, including Royalty, DMF & NMET) and that of fines (Fe 62%) at INR 9,400/t. A sharp hike in bids received in yesterday’s OMC auction and an increase in pellet offers have resulted in hike in offers.
