Sharp increase in sponge iron prices push domestic iron ore offers in Odisha.
Odisha’s 2nd largest merchant iron ore miner – Serajuddin Mines has today revised iron ore prices. The miner has raised lump prices by INR 400/MT and fines prices by INR 150/MT.
The miner has EC limit of 15.15 MnT pa. The miner has produced 8.22 MnT iron ore from Apr-Jan’17 and dispatched 8.28 MnT iron ore during Apr-Feb’17.
Odisha iron ore prices have moved up amid sharp increase in sponge iron prices. C-DRI prices in eastern India have moved up by about INR 2,000/MT M-o-M. C-DRI (78 FeM ) prices in Durgapur are presently hovering at INR 17,300/MT delivered.
