Odisha’s 2nd largest merchant iron ore miner – Serajuddin Mines has today (28 Feb’17) raised lump offers by INR 300/MT, however the miner has kept prices of iron ore fines unchanged as of now.
The miner has EC limit of 15.15 MnT pa. The miner has produced 7.62 MnT iron ore from Apr-Dec’16. However iron ore dispatches in the same period stood at 6.57 MnT.
Odisha iron ore prices have gained momentum with increase in sponge iron prices. C-DRI prices in eastern India have moved up by INR 2,800/MT M-o-M.
Odisha’s other major merchant miners namely Rungta Mines, KJS Ahluwalia & Kaypee Enterprises have also raised iron ore lump prices up to INR 300/MT in last 2-3 days.
