KJS Ahluwalia, an Odisha based Iron ore miner has raised its prices by Rs 150-200/MT for all grades.
KJS is one of the biggest mines owner in the sector and it will certainly impact the market, said market participants.
Other miners are likely to hike their prices on improved demand from sponge iron manufacturers and low production of iron ore in Odisha sector.
Current prices Iron Ore
5-18mm (63% Fe)= Rs 6170/MT
10-30mm (61% Fe)= Rs 5470/MT
Fines (63% Fe)= Rs 2620/MT
Prices including royalty, taxes extra.
