After consecutive increase in Odisha iron ore prices since mid Sept’16, merchant miners have maintained offers at same levels.
Merchant miners in Odisha continue to keep offers stable as of now and shared that they do not anticipate revision in prices in the immediate term and miners will wait for further revision in prices.
Market sources shared that amid limited trade activities over holidays, sponge prices in last week fell by INR 300-400/MT W-o-W.
Prior to this, Odisha based merchant miners had increased lump prices by INR 600-750/MT M-o-M and fines prices by INR 100-200/MT M-o-M in three tranches since mid of Sept’16.
