The Odisha government on Thursday suspended transportation and mining operations of iron ore from the mines leased out to the KJS Ahluwalia group till the conclusion of a vigilance inquiry. On Tuesday, vigilance sleuths along with the sales tax authorities had raided the premises of the group at Rourkela and Barabil.
Currently KJS group is one the largest private mines owner in the sector, though market sources say that it will not hamper the supply and dispatches will start soon.
