The miner in its latest price revision has raised lump prices by INR 275/MT and fines prices by INR 125/MT.
Iron ore prices have moved up on the back drop of strengthening sponge iron prices. C-DRI prices have increased amid improved trades and rise in billet prices and in eastern parts of India sponge iron prices have gone up by INR 800-1,100/MT M-o-M.
So far in this fiscal (till Nov’16), miner’s iron ore production was recorded at 2.37 MnT.

It is to be noted that Essel Mining had reduced lump prices by INR 250/MT and fines by INR 100/MT on 01 Dec’16 while other Odisha miners had kept iron ore offers unchanged.
Other Odisha based merchant miners continue to maintain same offers as of now and are yet to take a call on prices.
