Dispatches of chrome ore and chrome concentrates by Odisha miners fell by about 18% in Aug’15 against Jul’15.
In August, IMFA dispatched 18,305 MT of chrome ore for captive consumption, which fell by over 60% M-o-M; the major reason behind fall in dispatches by 18% in August.
As per Odisha government data analysis for dispatches of chrome ore via trucks, OMC is the biggest merchant miner, followed by IMFA (captive consumption) and Tata Steel.
