Dispatches of chrome ore and chrome concentrates by Odisha miners decreased by almost 11% in Oct’16 against Sep’16
In Oct’16, Tata Steel dispatched 71,425 MT of chrome ore, which has fairly similar in terms of quantity, to its previous month’s dispatches, having decreased by 4.4% M-o-M. Out of the total dispatches by Tata Steel in Oct’16, only 14,239 MT was for captive consumption. However, quite a few of their other dispatches was actually for conversion.
In Oct’16, OMC dispatched 81,955 MT of chrome ore, which increased by over 10% M-o-M.
