NTPC achieved 100 mnt coal production from captive mines on 25 Feb’24. NTPC Mining Ltd achieved 100.04 mnt since 1 Jan’17 beginning with Pakri Barwadih mine. NTPC Mining Ltd has five operational captive coal mines namely Pakri Barwadih, Chatti Bariatu and Kerandari Coal Mines in Jharkhand, Dulanga Coal Mine in Odisha and Talaipalli Coal Mine in Chhattisgarh.
