Norway, one of the minor importers of Manganese ore in the world, has witnessed a substantial decrease in its imports by 58% on M-o-M basis in Feb’17.
Norwegian Manganese ore imports stood at around at 0.04 MnT in Feb’17 against 0.11 MnT in Jan’17. Moreover, there has been a marginal decrease of around 7% Y-o-Y in Feb’17 against Feb’16 import volume.
Gabon and South Africa, being the major exporters of Manganese Ore to Norway have exported 0.05 MnT and 0.06 MnT in Jan’17 whereas no export from them have been recorded in Feb’17. However, Brazil is the only country which exported 0.04 MnT Manganese Ore to Norway.
