About 2,000 t billet deals were concluded yesterday from Raipur, Chhattisgarh to Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, at around INR 28,900-29,000/t exw and the freight cost is reported INR 2,800-3,000/t via road delivery. The landed cost in Mandi is assessed at around INR 31,900-32,000/t (including miscellaneous). The material was booked largely by traders, SteelMint learned from reliable sources. Current spot offers of 100*100mm billet in Mandi are hovering at INR 32,500-700/t FoR.
