The US Department of Commerce has decided not to slap anti-dumping duty on S. Korean CRC from steel majors Posco and Hyundai Steel that exported 40,000 t and 30,000 t respectively between Sept’17 and Aug’18. However, while Hyundai Steel’s CR products are exempt from countervailing duty (CVD), the department has imposed a 0.59% CVD on CR sheets supplied by Posco.
