In this fiscal (till Oct’16), NMDC has produced 16.8 MnT iron ore up by 11% Y-o-Y.
India’s largest iron ore producer – NMDC has registered an increase of 28% in its monthly iron ore production in Oct’16. Miner’s iron ore production increased from 2.24 MnT in Sept’16 to 2.87 MnT in Oct’16. Out of 2.87 MnT iron ore produced last month, 1.8 MnT was from its Chhattisgarh mines and remaining 1.07 MnT was produced from its mines in Karnataka.
Compared to the same month last fiscal (i.e.) Oct’15, NMDC’s iron ore production is higher by 6% in Oct’16.
So far in this fiscal (till Oct’16) the miner has produced 16.8 MnT iron ore. Out of which 10.13 MnT was produced from its Bailadila mines in Chhattisgarh and 6.67 MnT was produced from its Karnataka mines.
Miner’s iron ore production in the same period last fiscal was recorded at 15.09 MnT. NMDC’s iron ore production from its Chhattisgarh mines has witnessed considerable increase this fiscal.
NMDC’s iron ore sales up by 8% in Oct’16
Monthly iron ore sales of NMDC was recorded at 3.14 MnT last month. Out of this, sales from Chhattisgarh and Karnataka were recorded at 1.95 MnT and 1.19 MnT respectively. On monthly premises, NMDC’s iron ore sales volumes in Oct’16 are up by 8% against 2.9 MnT in Sept’16.
In first ten months of this fiscal (i.e. till Oct’16) NMDC’s iron ore sales stood at 18.97 MnT (up by 21% in the same period last fiscal).
