From its Donimalai and Kumarswamy mines based in the state of Karnataka, NMDC is to offer a total of 196,000 MT of iron ore fines.
The total quantity includes 60,000 MT of iron ore lumps, 80,000 MT of Iron ore calibrated lumps and 56,000 MT of Iron ore fines.

Donimalai mines:
Iron ore lumps 60,000
Kumarswamy mines:
Iron ore calibrated lumps 80,000
Iron ore fines 52,000
Low grade fines 4,000
Royalty 10%, VAT 5.5% (on auction price and royalty), FDT 12% are applicable.
In the last e-auction from Kumarswamy mines, on April 16, NMDC sold only 5% out of 80,000 MT of total lumps.
The total quantity of fines offered was purchased by JSW.

24,000 MT Fe% 61 at Rs 2,505/MT, floor price was Rs 2,035/MT
28,000 MT Fe% 62 at Rs 2,300/MT, floor price was Rs 2,160/MT
