From Bailadila mines in the state of Chhattisgarh, NMDC is to offer 176,000 MT of iron ore through e-auctions, on March 26.
The total quantity includes 16,000 MT of lumps and 160,000 MT of fines.

From Bacheli
DR CLO 8,000 MT 10-40 mm Fe% 67
Baila ROM 8,000 MT 10-150 mm Fe% 65.5
From Kirandul
Baila lump 40,000 MT 6-40 mm Fe% 65.5
Baila fines Fe% 64 Bacheli 40,000 and Kirandul 80,000
Basic price in Rs per WMT. Royalty, sales taxes, other statutory duties and levies etc applicable is extra.
There were no bidders for NMDC lumps offered in Chhhattisgarh, through e-auction on February 26 as steel plants were uninterested in buying the.expensive ore.
Whereas, bids for 12,000 MT of Fe% 64 fines was received at at INR 2,619/MT, out of 64,000 MT offered in total.
The deal for fines has been finalized.
Management was to give a confirmation on the slightly higher e-auction prices as compared to offers standing at Rs 2,600/MT for long term contracts.
