NMDC’s quarterly iron ore production has moved up by 19.7% in Q3 FY16.
NMDC, India’s single largest iron ore miner has produced 20.08 MnT in first nine months of this fiscal year (Apr’15-Dec’15). Iron ore sales amounted to a total of 20.32 MnT in the same period.
Out of the total production, 11.59 MnT iron ore was produced from its Chhattisgarh Bailadila mines and 8.49 MnT was produced from its mines in Karnataka (Donimalai and Kumaraswamy).
Iron ore sales from NMDC Chhattisgarh mines summed up to 11.53 MnT and sales from its Karnataka mines stood at 8.79 MnT.
NMDC’s quarterly iron ore production has improved by 19.7% from 6.44 MnT in Q2 FY16 to 7.71 MnT in Q3 FY16. Quarterly iron ore sales has increased from 6.46 MnT in Q2 FY16 to 7.21 MnT in Q3 FY16.
NMDC iron ore sales up by 30.6% M-o-M in Dec’15
On a monthly basis, NMDC iron ore production and sale figures moved up by 7% and 30.6% respectively in Dec’15. NMDC iron ore production and sales stood at 2.58 MnT & 2.6 MnT respectively in Dec’15.
